The popular Search Marketing Expo series of events focused on search engine/ interactive marketing comes to Singapore on Oct 13-14 this year. This is the first SEO/SEM event of this scale to be held in Singapore and targeted at the Asia Pacific audience. The two-day event will be held at Suntec Convention Centre.

Keynote speakers at the event are Gillian Muessig of SEOMoz who is slated to discuss the "world of search, addressing pricing models, contractual issues, elements of successful sales presentations, managing expectations determining ROI and more" and Harrison Gervitz of Gevirtz Media who will speak on "monetizing social media and affiliate marketing".

Singapore will play host to the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas (PBD), an international conference modeled after the 'Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD)' event, held annually in India. The three-day event, to be held at the Suntec City Convention Centre, is organised by the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI), the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), with support of the Governments of Singapore and India.


This business conference, the second in a series of smaller PBDs organized outside of India, aims to reach out to the Indian Diaspora in the Asia-Pacific and beyond. The event will be graced by several senior dignitaries and business leaders from India and abroad. Besides a keynote address by the Prime Minister of Singapore, Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, there will be interactive diaologues with Mr. Goh Chok Tong, Senior Minister, Singapore and Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, Minister Mentor, Republic of Singaore.

ARTS Singapore 2008, a contemporary art fair, and Zee Carnival 2008 will be co-located at PBD Singapore.

ProcessCEMAsia 2008, the International Exhibition & Conference on Plant Construction, Engineering and Maintenance for the Process Industry is being organized by the Association of Process Industry (ASPRI) on October 22-24, 2008 at Suntec Singapore.

Exhibitors at this trade show and conference targeted at the buoyant chemical process industry in Asia will feature leading international companies with a stake in the process industry.
