Billed as Asia's top supply chain and logistics conference, SCM Logistics World 2008, will take place between October 13-16, 2008 at the Raffles City Convention Center, Singapore. The main conference days are October 14 and 15.

The theme for this year's conference is "Perfect Fit" and will feature 6 industry-driven tracks and 6 functional tracks.

The industry tracks will focus on supply chain management and logistics issues in the following industries: Automotive; Chemical; Fast fashion supply chains; FMCG & F&B; High-tech; and Retail.

The topics for the functional tracks will be: Sourcing & Procurement; Multimodal transport network planning; Real time, consumer-driven supply chain management; Maximising supply chain reliability and integrity through business process improvement, supply chain finance, technology and enablement.

Apart from an extremely impressive line up of conference speakers, the event will also witness the SCMLogistics Excellence Awards given out over 2 days.
